The Generic Theater is Hampton Roads' "Off Broadway" theater presenting the area's most progresssive and provocative drama. The theater prides itself on producing new plays and new interpretations of the classics. The five-play season may also include local premiers of award-winning work.
The theater's monthly children's performance series, ChildsPlay, is designed to introduce children to the excitement of a live performance. ChildsPlay is held every second Saturday of the month, from October through May. Performances are at 11am and 2pm. All tickets are $3.00.
