Family Travel Guide: Montreal

Other Family Travel Guides
Montreal is one of the oldest cities in North America, and for many visitors it’s one of the most exotic, given that its language and culture is primarily French. But you and your family don’t need words beyond bonjour and merci to get by here, since almost everyone speaks English, too (the attractions listed below all provide information in English and French). Situated along the mighty St. Lawrence River, Montreal has both historic charm and a lively spirit, and it’s filled with things for children to see and do. Bon voyage!
