When a wealthy Parisian lady, Madame Adelaide Bonfamille, meets with her attorney to make a will, she decides to leave her entire fortune to her beloved cat, Dutchess. Unfortunately, Madame's scheming butler, Edgar, overhears the plan and plots to make sure that HE inherits the fortune. He kidnaps Dutchess and her three kittens and abandons them in the countryside, miles from Paris.

Somehow, the feline family must find their way home again, which they do, thanks to an independent tomcat, a sleuthing mouse, a band of jazz-playing alleycats, two prim and proper English geese, and a posh horse.

This classic Disney movie is great for all ages and has some wonderful tunes.
