What it is
Dino Adventure is an impressive collection of dinosaurs, action figures and building components. Kids can build any number of vehicles with the many component pieces or assemble the massive dino-catching truck pictured on the box.

Why it’s fun
For starters, Dino Adventure is fun because kids love dinosaurs! But there’s more to this toy - there is also a lot of opportunity for open-ended imaginative play. Dinosaur play is fun for kids because it gives them control over a world of scary monsters - and those that they know aren’t around anymore so it’s possible to pretend to be scared without the real fear that the monster might show up in the backyard.

Who’s going to love it
We know little girls may be as fascinated by dinosaurs as boys but Dino Adventure will probably appeal more to the boys than girls.

What to be aware of
Dino Adventure features launching missiles and several small pieces so keep away from the toddlers. Matchbox has invested heavily in design lately, so the play set is very stable and easy for children to play with. This toy requires two AA batteries, which are included.
