This award-winning resort is known as the ultimate for families. "Anything you wanted, they could accommodate," says one happy mother of a 13- and 16-year old, after a week-long stay in the "ski in, ski out" condo, Smugglers’ Notch. The resort is located at the base of three inter-connected mountains (for skiers of different levels) and has two teen centers, including a supervised canvas-covered yurt (Mongolian-style tent) that sports the cheeky sign, "No adults allowed." There’s daycare for infants from six-weeks-old ($66 per day) and a popular Family FunZone Entertainment Centre with hot tubs, an indoor pool, a video arcade and nightly entertainment. The resort is for family members of all ages, especially great for inter-generational holidays. A special "Little Rascals" program has kids on skis from 2 ½ to 3years-old ($95 per day). Smuggler’s Advantage is a family package which includes mountain-side condo accommodation, multi-mountain lift tickets, all-day ski camp for kids three to five-years-old, or snowboard camp for kids aged four and five. Youth, aged six to 17, get daily 90-minute ski or snowboard lessons, and beginner adults get daily 90-minute level one and two learn-to-ski or snowboard lessons. Nightly rates start at $99-$195 per adult and $85-$198 for youth aged 17 and younger, based on a five-to-seven night stay.
