Bottle Goblet

Perfect for a party — especially a medieval party — try this easy goblet craft.

Parental supervision is recommended for use of sharp scissors.

This project is rated EASY to do.

What You Need
  • Large plastic Heinz ketchup bottle
  • Sharp scissors
  • Tacky glue (or other liquid arts-and-crafts glue)
  • Multicolored candies in a variety of flavors, mixed
  • Dish towel
How To Make It
  1. Remove label, wash and rinse bottle. Discard cap.
  2. Using sharp scissors, puncture, then cut right below where label was on the bottle. Cut all the way around. Be sure to cut smooth to prevent jagged edges. The upper portion of the bottle will become the top part of the goblet.
  3. Dry out the inside of the bottle using dish towel.
  4. Look at the bottom part of the bottle. Ensure that the top is cut smooth. This will become the base of the goblet.
  5. Run a thick bead of Tacky glue around the top of the bottle (smallest opening).
  6. Invert the top of the bottle into the center of the inside of the base. It should have the shape of a goblet (see photo).
  7. Let dry.
  8. For parties, make several then fill with candies and place around the party table as a treat for your guests.
