Get Active and Accomplish Something

 This might be obvious but the best way to develop a relationship with your daughter is to do stuff. When you get moving and accomplish things, it benefits your relationship, your daughter’s sense of spirit and maybe even her confidence. But when you’re planning that regular fitness or walking routine, or looking for a Saturday fair you can go to, remember what the Girl Scouts encourage: “Create opportunities for girls to explore new things, sample diversity, and give back to their communities.” So, instead of just going for regular walks, why not go for regular walks to get in shape for charity walks in your community. Or instead of just making crafts, why not make them for friends, charity or a community fair. Whatever you do, get creative and then pitch your idea to your daughter as something she can have a say in, get involved with and accomplish.
