Think you need a man to take out the trash? This movie makes you think twice about that outdated notion, thanks to the butt-kicking Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie). In order to set things right with the world, she has to find two halves of an ancient artifact and reunite them. And she does it all without breaking a nail. Ok, so it doesn't hurt that she was born into wealth, groomed at the most elite schools, is combat-trained, and answers to no one. Almost makes you want to lift an extra weight or two in your workout today. 100 min. 2001.
